IATI data is for anyone who wants to understand how development and humanitarian resources are being used and the results that are achieved.
Publishers
Over 1,500 organisations have published their data to IATI. IATI publishers share information on a wide range of resources, from aid to private finance, that flow into developing countries.
We encourage every organisation distributing or spending funds through international delivery chains to publish IATI data.

Governments of developing countries
To plan resources effectively, governments in developing countries need to know what development and humanitarian organisations are operating in their country. They also need to know what these organisations are spending, which services they are providing and where.
IATI data helps governments access timely, forward-looking and detailed information on resources that flow into the country to address poverty and crises. Government staff can integrate IATI data into their national financial systems.

Civil society organisations
Civil society organisations can use IATI data to hold authorities to account, to avoid duplicating services, and to signpost local people to other civil society organisations that can help them. Civil society organisations can also use IATI data to see how transparent donors are about their spending and to campaign for improvements.
